Our History

The Thunderdome was completed and opened for Superspeedway Oval Track Racing in February 1988. At that stage it was the only Superspeedway Oval Race Track outside the USA.

Marshall Brewer watched the first rce in February 1988 as a spectator, and since that first race has raced in every season since.

It became obvious that this type of racing was very different to the traditional circuit style racing, which was the most popular form of motorsport traditionally in Australia, with may potential race drivers have a great deal of trouble adapting to this new style.

Marshall Brewer approached Bob Jane (owner of Calder Park Raceway) with an idea of starting a driving school at Thunderdome. Bob was delighted with the idea, and gave Marshall his blessing to start Fastrack Racing Pty Ltd.

The idea grew from training potential race drivers into advertising rides and courses to the general public, corporate groups and tourists.

Australian Champion - Marshall Brewer, owns and operates Fastrack Racing which is located in the Calder Park Raceway in Keilor, Victoria, an easy 20 minutes drive from the Melbourne CBD and only 10 minutes drive from Melbourne Airport.

Fastrack Racing also operates drive / ride days at Mallala Motorsport Park, Eastern Creek Raceway,Oran Park Raceway and Barbagallo Raceways.
